Chocolate and Walnut Brownie

This delicious cake, originally from the United States, is loved by everyone and can be easily found in many restaurants. This cake is unique for not rising much, being moist inside, and getting even better as days pass.
The brownie can be served with a scoop of cream ice cream.
For a quick, homemade, and delicious ice cream, whip 200 ml of fresh cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until it becomes whipped cream, then freeze it for 3 hours.

Ingredients

• 300 g (10.5 oz) of chocolate, broken into pieces
• 250 g (8.8 oz) of butter
• 100 g (3.5 oz) of walnut pieces
• 2 tablespoons of white sugar
• 65 g (2.3 oz) of lean cocoa powder
• 65 g (2.3 oz) of plain wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 4 eggs
• 250 g (8.8 oz) of brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
• 1 square 22 cm (about 8.7 inches) baking pan, buttered, lined with parchment paper, and buttered again

   In a pot with water, melt the butter and chocolate pieces in a double boiler.
   Stir with a whisk until the chocolate is smooth and then remove from heat.

   Meanwhile, break the eggs into a bowl.
   Add the brown sugar and beat until the volume doubles.
   While beating, add the vanilla essence.

   In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, white sugar, and walnuts.
   Mix well with a spoon.
   To this mixture, add the melted chocolate.
   Finally, mix in the beaten eggs with brown sugar.
   Stir everything well until the batter is homogeneous.

   Spread the batter in the pan.
   Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 35 minutes.
   Be careful not to overbake and dry out the cake.

   After 35 minutes, remove from the oven and unmold.
   Serve the brownie warm, cut into squares.
   It can be served with cream ice cream or whipped cream.
   If not using all the brownie at once, it can be stored in the refrigerator and warmed in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
