Chicken with Spaghetti and Tomato Sauce

To this day, it remains one of the favorite dishes at home, especially on winter days.
You can also make this recipe with beef stew meat cut into cubes.

Ingredients

• 1 chicken, cut into pieces
• 500 g (17.6 oz) of spaghetti
• 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) of olive oil
• 30 g (1 oz) of butter
• 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 bay leaves
• 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) of tomato pulp
• 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) of white wine
• 1 liter (34 fl oz) of water
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste

Instructions

   Season the chicken with salt, chopped garlic, and pepper.
   Mix everything well.

   In a wide pot, heat the olive oil, butter, onion, and bay leaves over medium heat.
   Stir and let it sauté.

   Add the chicken pieces and let them brown.
   Turn the chicken to brown evenly.

   Add the tomato pulp and mix well.
   Pour in the wine and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
   After 10 minutes, add the water and cook for another 10 minutes.

   After 10 minutes, add the spaghetti.
   With a fork, stir the spaghetti to prevent it from sticking, until the pasta becomes flexible and is fully submerged in the pot.
   Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom.
   When the pasta is cooked "al dente," it's ready to serve.
