Oven-Baked Fish Rolls Stuffed with Ham

These oven-baked fish rolls stuffed with ham bring together a rich mix of flavors and textures. Ingredients

• 8 fish fillets (catfish used in this recipe)
• 8 slices of ham
• 300 g (10.6 oz) cooked and peeled shrimp
• 60 g (2.1 oz) butter
• 35 g (1.2 oz) all-purpose flour
• 30 g (1 oz) instant shrimp cream powder
• 600 ml (2.5 cups) milk
• 200 ml (¾ cup) heavy cream
• Juice of half a lemon
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
• Nutmeg, to taste
• 50 g (1.8 oz) shredded mozzarella and Emmental cheese mix

   Prepare the rolls: Season the fillets on both sides with salt, pepper, and the lemon juice.
   Place one slice of ham over each fillet and roll them up.
   Secure each roll with two toothpicks.
   Place the rolls in a buttered baking dish and spread the shrimp on top.

   Make the sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter.
   Add the flour and stir well.
   Mix in the instant shrimp cream powder.
   Gradually pour in the milk and cream while stirring continuously.
   When it begins to boil, season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and a few drops of lemon juice.
   Stir again and turn off the heat.

   Assemble the dish: Pour the sauce evenly over the fish rolls.
   Sprinkle with the shredded cheese.
